One Good Thursday
One good thing
As we wrap up the work week and head into the weekend, here is a quick newsletter to share some things that inspired me, some things for you to think about, and one good thing to bring you hope.
3 Pieces of Inspiration
“Success is nothing more than a few habits practiced every day.” Inspired from this Youtube video.
“Personality is how you respond on a typical day. Character is how you show up on a hard day. It’s easy to demonstrate generosity, integrity, and humility when things are going well. The question is whether you live by those values when the deck is stacked against you. ‘That’s just the way I am’ is a missed opportunity for growth. Personality is not your destiny. It’s your tendency.” Inspired by this post from Adam Grant.
“You’ll always feel a little bit lost right before you find yourself again.” Inspired by this post from the wonderful Mel Robbins.
2 Questions to Think About
If money were a person and my best friend, what would I want that relationship to look like? How would I want to feel in my friendship with Money?
If I were to do one activity today to make me happy, what could I do?
1 Thing to Bring You Hope
Walmart heiress Alice Walton opened a new medical school to train doctors on preventative medicine and whole-health principles. The curriculum is designed to address the failing state of general human health and promote cultivating health practices instead of sickness management. This story is a reminder of the power of philanthropy and an exciting, much needed, shift in our medical dialogue to address the growing physical and mental health crisis in America. Here is the full story!
Until next time, live uninterrupted.
