What if the only thing standing between you and the life you desire … is you?

Have you ever daydreamed about what you would do if nothing stood in your way? For some people, it's money: What would I do if money were no object? For others, it's physical health: What would I do if my health allowed me?

If you're anything like me, you grow tired of not living the life you desire—the life you know you deserve.

I have been a teacher for eight years, and I love what I do. Truly. I have been incredibly blessed to teach music, spending a few years in general elementary music before teaching choir and orchestra at the high school level. And man, do I love my kids — they are the greatest gift life has ever given me.

However, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to move on and pursue a new adventure.

Let me explain.

As time went on and the reality of being a teacher settled in, my soul became more and more disconnected from my present reality. Rather, my desire to maintain the status quo of my life dwindled. The more I thought about the people, places, and activities that brought me joy, the more I struggled to see my life as a teacher bringing me continued satisfaction.

I have made several attempts to break away from teaching, but because the timing wasn’t right, I always found a reason to go back. I'm not sure when the light finally switched, but it was after I heard a relatively simple phrase that had an unexpected, striking impact on my life:

"The cost of the life you desire is your current one."

I don't know why that was the final straw, but it was.

You see, I tried everything to get out: dropshipping, affiliate marketing, selling printed items through an Etsy shop, learning how to buy houses with no money down, land flipping—just to name a few. You name it, I at least looked into it.

One after another, I quit them all because they never felt right. They never felt organic or like me.

But wherever I heard that quote, right then, I made the decision to create a path for myself guided by my passions and desires.

I am the creator of my own destiny, the architect of my own path.

And here's the thing: so are you.

I know, I know. You've heard that before—probably plenty of times. But maybe it never feels real. It's a nice thought, sure. But that's not how it really works. Reality isn't that easy. There are obstacles in your way that seem very real: you've got kids, a career, responsibilities, and bills to pay.

The truth is that all of these aren't real. Well, the barrier isn't real. Everything begins and ends with us—in our own minds. The chains are unlocked by the same hands that built them. Whether knowingly or not, we create our own realities, and we are the key to living the lives we desire.

And look, some people aren't cut out for this life. Some people will forever be preoccupied with their self-imposed barriers and will never be able to look past them. They'll say all this manifestation mumbo-jumbo isn't real, that it sounds too good to be true. They'll say, "Great if it works for other people, but I've got real problems, and it just isn't for me."

If that's you—beautiful. You are welcome in our community just the same, and my hope is that you will, at the very least, receive some positive light from being with us.

But maybe you're like me. A wanderer, an adventurer. A pathfinder. Maybe you know, deep down, that there has to be more out there—that we weren’t put here just to grind at a menial job with our heads down for 40 years, hoping to one day retire and finally get 15 years of enjoying our life—if we’re that lucky.

The energy in my body hasn’t cycled through 13.5 billion years to finally bring me consciousness, only for me to sit around and waste what may be my only chance to experience the Universe.

No, not me.

I want to see and become a part of this world in every way. I am energy in motion. My spirit is hungry for adventure.
